The Wajid Ali Shah Ceramic Handpainted wall plates are completely handmade. These wall plates had its inspiration seeded from Wajid Ali, Lucknow’s 10th and last Nawab and his Begums. Nawab Wajid Ali Shah’s first wife was Begum Hazrat Mahal, a woman who has gone down in history for her valour and courage in standing up to the might of the British forces during India’s first struggle of freedom against British in 1857.

Best mounted as a Set of 3, each ceramic handpainted wallplate comes with its custom-fit brass wall brackets that securely display them on the wall. The wall plates can also be bought as single pieces.
